Pre-registration is now open for London Anthropology Day 2013.
London Anthropology Day (www.londonanthropologyday.co.uk) is the biggest anthropology outreach event in Britain. The event is held at the British Museum’s Education Clore Centre. On the day participants get to learn what anthropology is about, the types of careers anthropologists do and gain hands-on experience of what it is like to study the subject at university.
Lecturers from 24 British universities provide interactive workshops on biological and social anthropology, as well as admissions and careers advice. Students are able to learn about the various specialisations of participating universities, explore photography exhibitions, the British Museum’s ethnographic galleries, and interact with volunteers who are currently studying anthropology.
The event is free and open to Year 12, 13 and FE Students, UCAS Advisers, AimHigher co-ordinators and teachers.
The next London Anthropology Day will be held on Thursday 4th July 2013. To pre-register visit www.lad2013.eventbrite.com.
Pre-registration allows you to reserve a place at the event and receive priority booking for workshops when full registration opens in May.
We look forward to seeing you all in July!
