London Anthropology Day is a free university taster day for Year 12, 13 and FE students, career advisors and teachers.
The event includes interactive workshops, university stalls and admissions information, films, exhibitions, and guided museum tours. Participants gain hands-on experience of what it is like to study anthropology at university, learn about careers and find out what's on offer from universities across Britain.
The event is organised by the Royal Anthropological Institute's Education Department in collaboration with the British Museum and participating universities.
The following universities took part in the 2013 event: Birkbeck, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Brunel, Cambridge, Durham, Goldsmiths, Exeter, Kent, Liverpool John Moores, LSE, Manchester, Oxford Brookes, Oxford, Queen's University Belfast, Roehampton, SOAS, Southampton, Sussex, UCL, UEA, UEL, University of Wales Trinity St. David and the British Association for Biological Anthropology and Osteoarchaeology.
