Event Description

The RAI's Anthropology of Sport Photo Contest is going to Canada! The Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival is one of the biggest photography festivals in the world. The RAI in collaboration with Humber College, York University and Global Disability Research in Sport and Health is putting together an international exhibition on sports, games and play as part of this year's festival.

Sport Cultures: Movement, Identities and Inclusion is an exhibit that illustrates the shared experiences of individuals engaged in movement from games of global prominence to diverse physical activities of local and cultural importance. The images capture elite athletes as well as people of all ages, dis/abiltiies, and backgrounds enjoying sport, play and leisure activities.

The exhibit will run from the 30th of April to 25th of May 2012 and will be displayed at New City Hall, North York Civic Centre and Metro Hall Rotunda, Toronto, Canada.
