My name is Dr. Misook Heo, a faculty member at Duquesne University in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The purpose of this document is to request
your participation in a research study on identifying factors that
influence user retention in cultural heritage portals.

What is a cultural heritage portal? A cultural heritage portal is a
Web site that provides a single point of access to digital objects,
documents and other items with cultural significance. Users can
personalize their portal home page for quick access to important
search terms and their saved objects, by creating and using their own
accounts.

The survey asks your perceptions about various characteristics of web
