Following the same path of Max Weber, Oscar Lewis conceptualized the Culture of Poverty, but came under the attack in his own time. It's said that this is a theory who blame the poor for their poverty. Charles A Valentine, has given three alternative models of the poverty, and has criticized the culture of poverty. When culture is not a culture in our age? How local and global structures are responsible for poverty? Can Marxism (s) interpret the issues of poverty more efficiently than others?
