Comment by Gisa Weszkalnys on January 11, 2012 at 11:32pm Since organising the panels at EASA 2010 (and at AAA 2010), which I wrote about in a comment back then, Tanya Richardson and I have continued our research on natural resources (individually and in collaboration with each other) . We've been successful in receiving funding from the Wenner Gren Foundation and the Canadian SSHRC for a colloquium "Engaging Resources: New Anthropological Perspectives on Natural Resource Environments". This will be a workshop style event, to be held in April this year, with invited participants where we hope to develop a strong anthropological perspective on the issue. Please visit the dedicated colloquium website to find out more. There will also be a blog, open to contributions from anyone interested in the topic!
