Yo creo que es genial tener un rinconcito aquí en OAC en español porque la gran mayoría del internet está en ingles. Como lingua franca de la red, ingles puede ser ambos incluyente y excluyente. Por ende, yo creo que debe ser un reto mayor de la antropología de invertir más recursos en traducción de cualquier tipo de literatura antropológica. Es un paso muy importante en difundir el conocimiento antropológico a un público aun más grande y aun más internacional.

(I think it is great to have a little corner here in OAC in Spanish because the great majority of the internet is in English. As a lingua franca of the internet, English can be both inclusive and exclusive. Thus, I think one major goal of anthropology should be inverting a lot of resources into translation of all types of anthropological literature. It is an important step in spreading anthropological knowledge to a larger and more international audience.)

Hola, la idea de tener un rinconcito en español es buena! Y por cierto Alberto, qué pasa con el proyecto EOI? Por los comentarios (escasos) en el foro la cosa parece un poco parada, no? Qué opinas?
