Dear OAC Book Review Members,

The OAC Book Reviews section is now functioning every 2-months, which is not conducive to the vitality of the group. As new publications come out, the OAC needs to stand-out as a viable communitas for knowledge and opinions. Hence, I strongly urge members to participate--this could be by offering to review a text, or recommending others to do so. Some of you may already have a review stored away, if you wish to have this considered for publication, then please send it to my inbox.

At this moment, I have two (2) titles that I wish to have reviewed:

1) Rosenthal, G. & A. Bogner (2009). Ethnicity, Belonging and Biography: An Ethnographical and Biographical Perspective. LIT-Verlag: Berlin (NEEDS REVIEWER IMMEDIATELY)

2) Tapp, Nicholas (2010). The Impossibility of Self: An Essay on the Hmong Diaspora. LIT -Verlag: Berlin.

There are other titles from Polity, Berg, Lit Verlag, Routledge, and Sage that need to be reviewed. Click here to see other titles. However, as we physically have these titles waiting to be sent to reviewers, I would like to focus on distributing these.

Please send an email to me at:saah@st-andrews.ac.uk.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,

Stacy Hope

Book Reviews Editor
