My name is Diego Ballestero, I'm an Argentine anthropologist graduated from the Universidad Nacional de la Plata. Since 2010 I am living in Germany to finish my PhD. My main research topic is the history of anthropology in Argentina between1890 and 1930.

I hope to contribute elements of discussion to the group!

Hey guys! I wanted to invite anyone interested in hominin brain evolution to join "Neuroanthropology and Cognitive Evolution". I created this group in order to facilitate discussion of anything that falls within the wild and whacky realm of neuroscientific anthropology, including: cognitive neuroscience, functional neuroimaging, evolutionary neuroanatomy, social cognition, neural correlates of human cognition, etc. All are welcome!

Vanessa,

I have come to the realization that a vast majority of the 700+ members here are social/cultural anthropologists... not sure why the other fields are so poorly represented. I even sent a note to all of the undergrad anthro club members at my univ. assuming they'd be internet savvy and want to join, but it seems that not many have.
