I'm currently an anthropology undergrad at the University of Mary Washington. After serving with the Peace Corps, I intend to enter grad school and hopefully gain a Ph.D in anthropology.
I'm not exactly sure yet what I want to study....there are just so many cool options! However, I'm playing with some ideas, such as studying various ethnic scouting groups (ex: Russian Scouts) and the role they play in giving cultural identity, as well as functioning as a pedagogical system. If anyone wants to suggest some literature that follow these lines of thought, it would be greatly appreciated!!
