I dropped a message to your FB, but after second thought, I think it is more appropriate to send you a message here. You may disregard the message I have sent to you at FB.
My thesis completed at HKUST in 2004 was about three Hong Kong intellectuals and their historical narratives. The thesis has been finally, though belatedly, published by Peter Lang (see attached link), which is expected to send me ten complementary copies. I reserve a copy for you. If you really take a complementary copy, please send me a Email to my address at firstname.lastname@example.org with your postal address, or you can decline my sending, but not replying me at this discussion forum.
Dear Professor Dirlik
I'm a Professor of Sociology at the University of Nanterre (France) and a member of the Institut universitaire de France. I'll organize next September in Paris a colloquium on the Global Turn, to which I would like to invite you. Unfortunately, I've been unable to find a valid e-mail address for you. If you might be interested, could you please send me a message to email@example.com, so we can discuss some further about this project ? Thank you very much in advance. Best, Stéphane Dufoix
Dear Professor Dirlik,
I'm a student of Political Science at LUISS Guido Carli university in Rome.
I'm going to be graduated in February with a thesis about Post Colonial Theory with a monograph about Your essay "the Postcolonial Aura, Third world criticism in the age of Global Capitalism".
In my thesis I will focus particularly on marxist theories, and on the links about postcolonialism and new globalized society, supporting your thesis.
