Delecty Tally Ann Prosence said… Florida’s Governor, Rick Scott, recently proposed shifting tax dollars away from anthropology schools, and toward “degrees that have the best job prospects.” Although I detest the notion, as a business anthropologist, I regretfully admit to understanding his position. Gov. Scott’s a professional VC, anthropologists often have misleading job titles, and anthropology schools really do need to step up their career resource centers.
We shouldn't waste time hating…

Alright! Heya, OAC! Missed all youz. Been busy. So here I am, recently graduated from anthro school. I had to turn down a job offer, to help a loved one with surgery, and thus I've had some time to just spin my wheels. Among other pursuits, I'm looking into a masters in marketing, and starting a couple small businesses of my own. How've all you been? Seriously. Trying to get a little more quantifiable with my social research.
So I broke out some statistical mathematics, and applied it to the New Age, Vedic, Christian, and Pagan spirituality I observed in a farmers market. I'd love to hear any commentary on my methods, as I'm still new to stats.
