...a coffee, chats, not surprised with the elections results...thoughts

After the elections had coffee outside with the sun of comfort with a friend...buaaahh!!!!!I was not surprised because I still do not know how well this country do not know the language well, I took the trouble to see each day political debates on TV. What I surprised them was that the scenery was typical of a contest of competition of travel to exotic countries, appliances and lots of easy money after responding to enumerative questions. So were all of them, these poor leaders holding standing…See More

Recycling videos: Varios aspects of sexual behavoiur...lecture

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uS8ntBVJRkI hypothesized that both : trash and sex are often excluded from anthropological studies or approaches them very separately coupled to hold one worldview, because we are also afraid of what we could see in them. The difference is just the time when the study it is a process not the result from analysis. This denial and dissociation also joins me the question, if this behavior is not part of the…See More

Ethnocentrism and double hole in the skull ;)

From the fieldwork diary....commentsYears, and years observing how anthropologists dont take the jump into the reallity of Indigenous people about laws, rights, social changes, specific basic features of the history of the context, and go to the field to do their job like the homework for the school but in this case for the university...I dont know if its come from the low academic teaching each time less reflexive exercises, weak and with a lot of "pieces of knowloges" like a shop of clothes,…See More

Migrants in the Mediterranean, 32 organisations across the EU appeal to the European Council Brussels, 22 April 2015 The signatory organisations are dismayed to learn of the decisions adopted on Monday 20 April by the EU Council of Ministers. Hello!

I am quite a beginner...I have studied some basics on my own, but though I can understand written spanish quite well (I speak Italian fluently) I can't understand spoken spanish and am just as poor when it comes to speaking.

I could be in Spain in July, before heading off for fieldwork.

My address is bc324@kent.ac.uk I'd be grateful if you could send me more information on these classes.

Regards

B
