A group for discussion of all aspects of the anthropology of religion. Discussion can concern cross-cultural analysis, or specific religions. Any other topic tangentially related to religion is also welcome, including folklore studies, etc.

Anthopology holds at its core the question of what it is to be a thinking, feeling human being. Emotion and how it is portrayed and interpreted across cultures helps us to reflect on aspects of power, agency and belonging.

A forum for conversations between those inclined towards presenting ethnographically-derived insights through experimental ethnographic writing including the broader fields of 'creative non-fiction' and ‘creative fiction'.
