Will you have access to the Internet while you are in the field? If so, you might want to have a look at Evernote, for which there are clients for PCs, Macs, smartphones, tablets... "

Any software solution for tagging while still writing, in the field?
Hi, I am in the fieldwork and mostly use Word 2010 for writing my notes, using all that Styles and Navigation Pane can provide to delineate specific sections. However from time to time I feel finding a specific topic or thread among the documents and it drives me mad.
