Internet mediating sociality

I'm interested in conducting research into the anthropology of the Internet/internets. I am hoping this group will discuss how and in what ways people use the Internet and how this either augments or alters sociality. Any takers?

I work as a concept developer and senior advisor at Bouvet ASA, a Scandinavian provider of consultancy and development services within information technology in Norway. I make innovative technological concepts, built on how actual people work and interact, the organizations overall strategy and future technological expectations. I see technology in a holistic sense, based on people’s meaningful needs and conceptions, the organization as a whole, not as separate sections, the business model and the marketing considerations – all close interwoven.
