A group for discussion of all aspects of the anthropology of religion. Discussion can concern cross-cultural analysis, or specific religions. Any other topic tangentially related to religion is also welcome, including folklore studies, etc.

This group goal is to share ideias and scientific articles about Nationalism, Identities, Hot Nationalism, Disapora Nationalism, among others.

For those interested in discussing issues related to processes that generally get glossed as globalization. How do we understand globalization? Are we fruitfully engaging with studies of globalization in other disciplines?

OAC already has a group named Theory in Anthropology, a good place to discuss theories already embraced by anthropologists. This group is, instead, intended for discussion of theory found outside anthropology that anthropologists might find useful.
