It's nice to see another archaeologist!  The vast majority of the members here are socio-cultural anthropologists, with a handful of biological anthro people thown in for good measure.

 

Please consider visiting (and joining, and contributing to,...) the Archaeology Group, and I also have a group I created specifically for archaeology in the American Southwest.

 

I've only read a few articles on pre-columbian cultures south of Mexico.  What are some of your specific areas of interest?  Have you had any field school experiences in Central/South America?

 

Completely unrelated: My daughter is majoring in music performance on the cello, and has just started a six-week music festival near Rutland, VT.  Is it really as beautiful as it looks in photos?  I wish I were spending my summer there... instead it will be 113 here in Phoenix today!
