I'm currently studying Anthropology at Middlebury College in Vermont. I'm most interested in archaeology, mostly in Central/South America. I'm going into my third year of my undergraduate and look forward to continuing on in the future!
It's nice to see another archaeologist! The vast majority of the members here are socio-cultural anthropologists, with a handful of biological anthro people thown in for good measure.
Please consider visiting (and joining, and contributing to,...) the Archaeology Group, and I also have a group I created specifically for archaeology in the American Southwest.
I've only read a few articles on pre-columbian cultures south of Mexico. What are some of your specific areas of interest? Have you had any field school experiences in Central/South America?
Completely unrelated: My daughter is majoring in music performance on the cello, and has just started a six-week music festival near Rutland, VT. Is it really as beautiful as it looks in photos? I wish I were spending my summer there... instead it will be 113 here in Phoenix today!
