Looking back it is hard to believe that 'brain dump' of mine could make sense.  I'm even more amazed that you were able to remember it after 3 years.

 

Please be aware, that suggesting changes doesn't work as well as making changes.  Be willing to waste some time to make a complete product, then drop it in their laps.  If it is handed to them they will be more receptive as it will cost them less and you will keep more of the credit.  They might change it a little, but that is better than giving someone above an idea and they decide they don't want to spend the time on it.
