Obituary

George Bertrand Silberbauer was born on the 19th of March 1931 in Pretoria, South Africa. His father was a farmer who had studied agriculture at Cambridge. He was an only child and did his schooling in Pretoria. He studied at the University of Stellenbosh, doing forestry followed by majors in Zulu, Sotho and African Law and minors in anthropology and Roman Dutch Law. He began military service with the South African Air Force in 1950, first as a navigator and then a pilot flying fighters…

Excellency in work – "Nafel"

The phrase " Nafel " I use, taking from the world of Muslim mystics fellowship groups ("tariqa" ) that exaggerating in " God's work . This exaggeration may sweep them to the colorful social outcomes that enrich the cultural life and economy and serve as the "glue" of social cohesion.
