"How would you define culture? "
"Culture is something that is all around us but hidden from sight."
"Culture is a visual symbol that represents an abstract idea; it is veiled in allegory yet illustrated in symbols..."

Answer

Culture is essentially based on aesthetics, I think. If one has an idea
of the evolution of aesthetics as "categorical polarity" including its
cognitive or philosophical implications, this might be taken as a key
to understand "all cultures" in the framework of an evolutionary
process based on prehistorical semiotics. Most important obstacle: the
transition from the primary world of polar harmony to our Western
analytic world.
