....i am the final part of the ERC Project jigsaw,

Like Sabina and Meltem, I'm based in Frankfurt and I am the researcher for London! We will be concentrating on post-migrant youth's leisure practices in London, Paris and Berlin. The project is affiliated with the department of Cultural anthropology and European ethnology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany and the fieldwork phase is rapidly approaching!

I am also doing my PhD at Goethe and my research is focusing on gender issues, negotiating freedom and the use of urban space.

I did a BA in German and European Studies at Queen Mary, University of London and in this period of study I lived in the beautiful city of Hamburg teaching English for a year. On returning, I continued my studies at Queen Mary and completed an MA in Anglo German Cultural Relations. Soon after this, I took the plunge and moved to Berlin to write and teach English.

Now here I am in Frankfurt in the prepatory phase... before moving on to London to start my fieldwork in the old haunts...

I look forward to being a part of this community,
