I am pleased to announce the publication of volume 3, number 1 of Museum Anthropology Review. MAR a free-to-users-and-authors open access journal of museum and material culture studies published in partnership with the Indiana University Bloomington Libraries through its IUScholarWorks program. It uses the open source software toolkit called Open Journal Systems and its content is licensed using Creative Commons licenses.

The new issue can be found at http://scholarworks.iu.edu/journals/index.php/mar/index. It features contributions from Elizabeth A. Kallenbach, Aaron Glass, Michael A. Di Giovine, Karen Tranberg Hansen, Jane Webb, Cynthia J. Hale and Scott W. Hale.

Over the past two and a half years, the journal has published work by ninety three outstanding contributors, including such diverse scholars as Michael F. Brown, Sally Price, Linda Cordell, C. Kurt Dewhurst, Marsha MacDowell, Ann McMullen, Laura Peers, Helaine Silverman, and Ken Vos. The editorial team invites you to join this scholarly community as a contributor to, or reader of, the journal.
