All of us in our native roots can find that Name.
THE BERE
The Yoruba word, “bere” comes to mind as you see what the Hebrews call the first book of the Bible. They call it “bereshith”. They say that it means “beginning”. This is the same meaning that the Yoruba will give the word, “bere”.
The Yoruba people are part of what is now being called the original and authentic divine revelation in the Edenic African Asiatic family of languages. All the races of this world will find this Root if they will do a thorough going survey.
For in stance the preservation of the Egba people is much like the preservation of the Hebrew as preserved for us in the Shemoth popularly called the Exodus.
Amos 9:7 teaches that THE ALMIGHTY CREATOR is actually not a local idol. There is no discrimination with Him. All the races and nationalities of this world need to go back to their native roots and they will find their own Genesis, Exodus … all tallying with the one and only original authentic revelation now being restored.
Read Amos 9:7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
For instance when an Egba man sees himself as being born from above, the way he will understand the original paleo-Hebrew writing of Gesis, Exodus … will be different from the way an English man with his Aquarian conspiratorial mentality will understand this Scripture. Look at the Olumo event of the Egba people for instance. The Olumo event is not only talking about the creative power of THE ALMIGHTY; but also His victory over death and all works of the devil; and provision of eternal life. This ALMIGHTY is definitely beyond the revelation that an English man or some other man can come up with.
In this message, we are teaching that THE ALMIGHTY CREATOR is greater than the popular God (as proclaimed by the English in all their imperialism, colonialism, neo-colonialism, post modernism and Aquarian conspiratorial occultism).
This God may be called Allah, Jahbullon, Jehovah, “I am that I am” or “I will be who I will be” or whatever suit the fancies of these conspirators. He is not to be compared with the original and authentic revelation of THE ETERNAL ALMIGHTY CREATOR. The real, original and authentic Name of this Creator is not many. It is not Chineke or Olodumare or Oluwa – these may be good titles or characteristics.
This Name is just one name: It is preserved for us within the background of the Edenic African-Asiatic culture as IYE. This book is to help us apprehend the meaning and significance of this specially revealed NAME.

I would refer you to the anthropological research I've recently presented in the 3-part Forum on the Religious Life of the Ancient Afro-Asiatics.

I am open to relevant, anthropological discussion about creation mythology here, but only if it remains free from proselytizing. If you're drawing links between historical events and passages from religious texts, it would be useful if you could support your analysis with something other than quotes from scripture. If your point is that a creator being myth predated the introduction of Islam, Christianity, etc. in Egba society, I am still unsure as to where the following statements are appropriate:

All the races of this world will find this Root if they will do a thorough going survey.

the way he will understand the original paleo-Hebrew writing of Gesis, Exodus … will be different from the way an English man with his Aquarian conspiratorial mentality

this ALMIGHTY is definitely beyond the revelation that an English man or some other man can come up with.

He is not to be compared with the original and authentic revelation of THE ETERNAL ALMIGHTY CREATOR.

Perhaps you could explain.

Hi Kayode,

I defend your right to publish this stuff on the OAC. But, as an 'English man' and an anthropologist, I can't let it go without comment. First, I am not English. I come from Manchester and resent being lumped together with all the other inhabitants of 'England'. Similarly, the 'Yoruba people' was a nationalist invention of the late 19th century. Second, I would like you to defend the anthropological basis for "the original and authentic divine revelation in the Edenic African Asiatic family of languages". Otherwise, you lay yourself open to the charge of peddling racist religious rubbish. We are an open community, but we have intellectual and political standards too.
