Thanks, Paul, it looks like an interesting group. Even though I've taught for many years in Israel and many places abroad, I am more of an activist anthropolo

gist, working on the Israeli Occupation and on militarism, both Israeli and global. Its hard when you're not at a university, you get kind of isolated and its hard to keep up with the ongoing professional discussion. So I look forward to getting reconnected through OAC and linking up with people doing related work -- and I hope I can contribute as well. So thanks for the welcome. Jeff

Thanks for the welcome, Paul.

This is such a fantastic site. I am also a non-traditional student. After majoring in anthropology at my community college as well as being an instructor's aide in their archaeology program, I was very excited to get involved in research. Currently, I am finishing my B.A. in Anthropology through distance learning at Ashford University. Under those circumstances, it is not easy to network, collaborate or engage with others in the field. I ultimately want to attend graduate school and become involved in more hands on archaeological research.

Thank you again!

Thanks for the welcome. I am also a non traditional Anthropology student, doing my doctoral degree after about 20 years as a development practitioner in Peru, my country. This idea of this cooperative is great!
