Hi Justin,

Interesting sounding research. I would like to know more. My degree was in social anthropology but I now work as a radio producer. My regional interest is really Japan and Korea but I am also quite eclectic. My good friend Mischa Wilmers has written about the political situation for indigenous peoples in West Papua (Indonesia).

Thanks Justin,

I am busy with my thesis and completing fieldwork. I must finish by december. Main focus is agency and autonomy in 2,000 inhabitants town. It is located in an area where many scholars studiesd the rural-urban continuum.

My long term interests are oral tradition and visual anthropology. By the way can any member suggest me where to look for either a doctorate or postdoctorate stay on these subjects?

Thanks in advance

Hi Justin,

As you know my name is Andy. I am a first year Occupational therapy mature student at Southampton university UK. I am interested in  human behaviour and my subject is centred around the biopsychosocial model but i cant help thinking that anthropology also impacts on human occupation, that said i know nothing about anthropology but was really  interested in the material on the site.

Yeah! I actually found this site over summer and started to browse some of the different group discussions. I think it will be good to actually be a member.

Thank you Justin, I am extremely distrustful of social networking media on principle but it seemed stupid to leave myself out of the loop on Anthropology 2.0 or whatever this is..."it ain't your mother's brother's kinship!"
